Mini's on the Mack - World Record Attempt!
 

I couldn't find the Mini's on the Mack event posted in this forum and am somewhat surprised. Check out their website at:

Who wouldn't want to join in an attempt to beat the world record for the largest parade of Mini Coopers?

I'll be there! I did it the last two attempts as well (2015 and 2013). Lots of fun. Lots of Minis (over 1,300 in 2013). Over 1,100 registered so far! August 5 is the date.

OMG, c'mon kids...we're 182 cars short of establishing a new world record of 1451 MINIs...we are sooo close! ANNNDDD...it's the Mackinac Bridge's 60th birthday this year. Entertainment in St. Ignace Saturday night is a Jimmy Buffett cover band PLUS fireworks later that night. You got better plans?

Seriously, it's a ton of fun. Lots of great cars, people, food, and entertainment. But the best part is that part of Michigan is amazing this time of the year.

I will be there! Look for the Coffee Countryman with a 135lb Akita hanging out the back window!

I think they are getting close to the record of 1,500+, but I haven't seen any updated numbers in several days. On-line registration is closed, but you can register at the event.
