Hello new Mini friends,

I just picked up my new Laser Blue '12 Mini Cooper S (with the JCW package) last Thursday, and have been enjoying every minute of driving her.

I just wanted to inquire if there are any NY, NJ, CT area MINI gatherings/drives for scheduled for 2012 yet. I would love to make some new friends in the MINI community, and just enjoy our great cars together.

...get together to do the Opening Day Laps at Watkins Glen International race course. We did it in 2010, but we missed 2011 due to being out of the country. Many car clubs, as well as individuals, come out to do the laps and the proceeds go to charity. I don't remember which charity, but I believe that it rotates.

We were back for a few weeks in the summer and got to do the MINIs On Top event at Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. That's my only other experience with MINI events...

 

Just wanted to say thank you Miniblucabrio, and Flatlander. This is exactly the info I was looking for. I've joined nemini.org, and it looks great. And I''ll definitely check out the Watkins Glen sites too.
