Drive More...Surf Less: Los Alamos Loop
I created the tag line "drive More...Surf Less" over in the discussion regarding "Why is this forum dead". It was my way of saying step back from the key board, grab your car keys, and go burn a tank of gas on a Saturday morning.
On one such Saturday morning, I pushed away from the key board, and jumped in the MINI. I always like to catch the sunrise as I head out on patrol. Watching is come up over the Sandia Mountains was far more enjoyable than seeing who did what to their Mini/MINI, or arguing the merits of 17" or 18" wheels. (just kidding).
All good MINI trips start at Starbucks?
Stay tuned for more!

Let's see, where were we. Ah yes...
Valle Caldera: It's a big ole volcano that blew its top a long time ago. It is 10 miles across the top!
Then a romp down into Los Alamos. But first, I gotta deal with rush hour traffic!
Stay tuned. Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel...

And finally, Los Alamos. It was here that some of the smartest brains of the greatest generation worked in complete secrecy and seclusion to develop a war-ending weapon. In a strange bit of irony, it is ironic how peaceful Los Alamos is given the historical nature of what it produced 7 decades ago.
Then.
And now.
Then.
And now.
