Mazdaspeed Miata rims

My son is swapping out the rims on his 2005 Mazdaspeed Miata ( Racing Heart 17x7 offset is +38 I think) and I was wondering if they would fit on my 2006 MC, which has stock 15 inchers on it.

If the pattern is right, the size itself (17x7 et38) will fit good!

What's the centerbore diameter on these wheels? I know that many of the Miatas have a 54.1mm hub, which means that if the wheels are meant to go on a Miata and have a 54.1mm centerbore, they won't fit over a MINI's hub (56.1mm) without being machined out first.

Our '99 Miata's center bore is 54.1
Our 2006 MCS center bore is 56.2

I'm worried they will be 2 mm to small.....sorry.

Mini wheels will fit on a Miata but not visa versa.

Should be a relatively simple process to get them machined to the right size

Also, what's the build date on your 2006 MC? (It's printed on a sticker inside the driver's door jamb). If the build month is July or later, there may also be a problem with your lug bolts being too large for the bolt holes on the Miata wheels.
