it prolly don't matter to the hi-perf-types, but . . .
I got a set of 3 day old take-offs from a member here and slapped 'em on the car last weekend (Saturday). Been driving on 'em for a coupla-few days, and I can now say that I see why you 'S" guys are so eager to get the stock Dunlop RFs off there.
As far as I know, Coopers come (came?) with the GYs and S's with the Dunlops. My Cooper came with the Good Year RFs, and they do everything better than the Dunlops. If you have a choice between these two sets of tires and don't think you'll be swapping out any time soon, go with the GYs. My two cents. Zip |
My '05 MCS came with 205/45/17's (because of the sport pkg) GY RF's 'n dumped them at 10.5kmi and haven't looked back. Replaced them with GY Eagle F1's, 215/45/17 and love the look 'n ride.

What's the (expected) mileage?

Are you guys talking about 16" Dunlop 5000 all-season RF's? Mine lasted about 30K. I thought they were ok until I replaced them and saw how much better my non-runflat Michelin all seasons were.

What brand did you swap your Dunlops for?
