Toyo RA 1's in a 225-50-16 fit OK?

I have 16x7 wheels with a 38 ET and have a stock SS+ suspension. These RA1's are 24.9" diameter. Anyone know if there are rubbing issues?
Also may lower by just under 1". Will this be workable? This is for track only use.

I'm running 225/45R16 Hankook z212 RS-2's on 16x7's with +37 ET... I had to do some trimming to make it work. They just baaaaaarely fit. Car is lowered about 1.5".

My guess is the 225/50R16 is going to be an even tighter fit!

225/45/16 on 16x7 +43 lowered on h-sports, no rubbing

I'd say you'd be fine w/ the SS+ but would rub when lowered

looking at 225/45/16's as well. how about 16x7 ET40, lowered, with camber links and front camber plates? minor trimming of the plastic fender at most, maybe none at all?

Yup, my guess is that you'll need a bit of trimming - but you're gonna LOVE the extra width.

Do you guys know if there are any fit problems with stock suspension and the 225/45R16 Hankooks on stock 16x6.5" wheels?

As far as RA1s go, they work better stretched rather then bunched. In otherwords don't put a wide RA1 on a rim that narrower then recomended by Toyo. I'm assuming you are using these for some type of track use? Shaved?

Added this; Also, if you are not running front and rear camber adjusments, then you are not getting near the most out of the RA!, as they do like a good amount of negative camber. Just things to think about when getting into R comps.
