just wondering what the widest tire I can fit on the 15 in. 8 spoke stock wheels? something that I can run in autox? tires suggestions too.... thanks.....

I know of 1 very fast gentelman whom runs 225/45/15 Hoosier A3S03. That size is however larger than Tirerack guarantees to fit.

Is that on a stock 5.5" wheel?

On 6 inch wide SSR comps. Hoosier normally requires a 7 inch wide wheel for these tires.

So, back to the original question: What are the widest (or widest recommended) tires for the stock 5.5" wheels?
