CAI noise is cool...a Mini Cooper sounding like it has 4X4 wheels is not

Update: The tires seem to have quieted down a little. I will have to wait till spring to rotate (winter tires now) to see if this helps.

All I can say is I expect a quiet high performance tire. There are many other choices out there and do your homework. Some sites post dB levels and customer comments.

I went ahead and ordered them, noise isnt a factor in my decision, since my other toy is a jeep with large tires on it that are mind numbingly loud. My main concern was the tread wear, but hey, if they wear fast its a small sacrafice for performance.

 

I just had these installed this afternoon, and I love them so far. I drove home with the stereo off, and it didn't sound any louder than the runflats...but of course, I have been driving with a bad runflat for the past week so my judgement might be a little off. There's definately noise, but nothing that's bothersome so far, and my stock exhaust is still louder.

Performance is great. Feels a lot smoother and lighter to turn the steering wheel...and it's super grippy!

 

I installed a set on Sat. Noise is a non issue. They look great.
