There was one guy in the local show car scene that ran chrome 20's on his S. He eventually pinched a tire had a blow out and totaled the car. We didn't have to look at it any more .

24's should fit just fine on a mini -- same diameter as oem.
...as long as you don't put a tire on the rim!

I take it back.
A 24 rim is actually about 25 3/8 inches in diameter, so you might
have a problem with clearance.
