I don't know for sure but ET35 is a borderline offset and with the extra 1" width relative to stock you could run into problems....especially if you decide to lower. You might have to be very careful with your tire selection or be ready to start dremmeling.

I wouldn't order until sometime here chimes in with something more definitive.

 

I did a lot of math with that wheel size and found that it should work.. If you have not lowered your car too much.

The other big item would be what size tire you plan to run..

 

I'll chime in again on this - my understanding is that depending upon whether and to what extent the car is lowered, and what tires are chosen, the 35 offset may or may not cause rubbing - everyone checks that and ignores the effect on wheel bearings. I've still not seen a definitive answer on that aspect - maybe because there isn't one - but for the record, if any of the wheel/tire gurus want to chime in - what exactly are the potential negative effects of 35mm offset on our wheel bearings - and what does that mean exactly. I'd love to get a set of BBS RGFs in 16" for my MC, which is not lowered and onto which I'd mount 195/55/16 Toyos. I don't think I'd have rubbing issues, but I don't want to start hearing my wheel bearings, replace them very early or engender other suspension issues. Can anyone elaborate?

 

I researched the RG-Fs extensively because they're one of my favourite lightweight forged wheels. If you know that you definitely won't be lowering the car in the future and you're not going to switch to significantly wider and/or taller tires, then the 16" RG-Fs should be OK with 195/55-16 Toyos. I also think that because of their weight (12.8 lbs) you won't be putting such a big strain on the wheel bearings.

Even if you decide to lower and use wider tires in the future, you could always fit spacers (not ideal, but acceptable).
