Yokohama Neova Ad07 235/40/17 Anyone try this yet?

Anyone? I am thinking of attempting the squeeze on my 17x7.5 SSR Comps for my 06 JCW MCS SCCA STX car.

I wonder if I'll have any severe fitment issues that can't be overcome with spacers/rolling the fenders.

Anyone?

A couple of our local track junkies are running RA-1's in this size... The one with coilovers tried them then pulled them off - he didn't want to trim the lip off the rear moulding, but they would have worked fine had he done so... The one running springs only (H&R) has no fitment issues. He's running 17 X 7, 40 mm offset, Team Dynamics Pro 1 Rims.

Sounds very interesting..
I'm dying to get a set of Advan neova ad07s.
I had them in 205/45/16 for my miata and just loved them. best street tires ever.

If tirerack doesn't bring the smaller size ad07s this spring(I heard rumors) I might have to give 235/40s a try..
The diameter is actually very close to stock 205/45s but the extra width might be the problem..
