BBS RS look alikes - Konig Maximm

A wheel idea that I think would look very nice, and definetly a cheap alternative to real RS's. 16x7's et35 4x100 not 100% sure on the hub size but I'm sure it could be modified to fit or hubcentric rings if too big. I might look into getting a set with black centers like these:

Original post on the vortex http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2347155

-He can also get gold centers, like these:

For $500 bucks you can't really beat it, for a nice looking wheel. 1 piece of course.

HTH's someone in they're wheel searching.

that looks ike it takes a single nut like a formula car. hows that supposed to work? is there a kit to add wheels with a single lug nut to the MINI"s?

Not a single nut, just a center cap.

No I'm sure it comes with a cap to cover that area so you don't see the hub, our you could fit a Mini cap in there to get that oh so OE look

You think it'll poke too much? I think it'll work with the right tire size and height.

Finally! I have been waiting for that to be announced for a few months now. Eurotuner had a teaser pic a few magazines ago.

I like them, although wish they were 15s....

35 wont be too much. I have 40 and they are fine, i doubt 5mm will be much different...especially with the saller size.

I'll just throw this in here since this is about cheap small euro mesh wheels. Konig also just released their famous imagine style in 15x7 mode....perfect specs for our car

yah....15x8's are so hard to find though. Im totally content with 15x7 though , just need a nice offset.

Speaking of wishing things were wider....these are unfortunately 15x6.5....although $550 shipped and weigh 12 pounds

Those with 15x8 I could work with. Yeah 15x7's are fine, maybe with some 8mm spacers to offset them a little.

I think a staggered setup could be in my future.

I like the look and all....but on a FWD car that is just murder to handling (unless you staggered it with wider up front i guess ). Wider in the rear will just ruin handling though.

I know, but I guess you have to sacrifice for beauty.

ehhh i dont know. I think i will shy away from that particular sacrifice. I still love my driving, and feel that i can achieve beauty without staggered wheels

I honestly don't think it would effect it too much, all depending on the sizes.
16x7 up front and 16x8's in the rear, you really think it would make that big a difference. Didn't on my VW.

I think it would be pretty noticable.....i dont know though. It all depends on how the car is used. I track and auto-x my car....so i have a feeling i would notice it at the extremes.

Keep showing me these far out wheels, I'm glad to see some fresh stuff!

Those Konig Maxximms are sweet, but I think these are the cream of the meshes. SSR wheels, JDM, in 15s and 16s x 5 - 7.5 sizes. Coilovers would be a must to complete the addition, though...

Or the oldschool Work Equip 03s:

What a stretch! It makes me nervous just seeing how vulnerable the lips are... :impatient :impatient :impatient I'd be freaking out everywhere I went! Is that like 175/40 on a 16x8?!?!? Looks great. great and crazy.
