And this works? No problem?

Granted, most people don't ever ck. their air pressure and rotate regularly either so perhaps that could be the explanation for the lower than normal tread life. The ES100's are a better cornering tire, but they tend to get noisy as the tread wears (typical of a lot of HP tires). Do check out the Toyo Proxes and be on the lookout for the new Yokohama Advan tires due out soon, they'll be replacing the AVS Sports and they are supposed to be better than the sports in all aspects.

Every time this question of which tire to pick comes up, you get defenders of each brand stating that theirs is the best tire. I've got customers who come in and tell me that the "el cheapo" $20 special tire is the best thing they've ever ridden on . It never ceases to amaze. Pick one that your tire dealer is going to stand behind in case you have a problem w/ one, and buy the road hazard warranty. Very helpful w/ lower profile tires.

I think I may be seeing what you are describing as shoulder wear. I thought I might have an alignment issue but now I'm beginning to think it is just the Falkens. I've got around 10K on them now. What tire do you run? Forgive me if I've missed it.

Yes, 205/50 is the most popular alternate tire size for 16" OEM rims.

If you dont rotate, this will become a factor with your long tread blocks, Heal and toe wear will set in, and you will "roar" but the end of parada's life. Your tires are aysemetrical, use this to your advantage when rotating, they can be placed in all 4 positions like so.

Ziex tires are no good - I would not recommended them. The sidewall is way too soft and the turn-in is bad. The stock continentals provided much better steering feel and turn-in, though the Ziex has more grip.

These are observations based on 185/65/15 tires mounted on a MC with SS+ and 15" holies.
