tires

I am looking for new all season tires for my 02 mini cooper.
Have dunlop 3000 now with 40,000 miles and they have become awful on snow. Never knew they weren't all seasons anyway until a few days ago. I found the 5000's are being discontinued and don't really care about run flat feature anyway. Any personal experience with other brands?

I'm guessing you have the 5-star 16" on your Cooper.

Great all-season replacements are the BFG Traction T/A and the Kumho ASX in 205/50-16, both very reasonable in cost.

I put some Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S. So far they have very good grip on dry and wet.(Not as good as the euforis on dry but, close). I haven't had them in snow yet but, it's coming soon. I got the 215/45-17 and there is no rubbing issues. Check out Tirerack.com for reviews and specs of this tire. They are pretty impressive for an M+S tire. So far I think I made the right choice. Good Luck!
