I have a 2014 Cooper F56 Base... I love this little car, but I'm not a fan of the 15" rims (175/65 r15)
I recently bought a set of 17" Mini Rims and plan to put them on soon. They came off a 2019 F55
I'm trying to decide on what tires to get.
Since I live just south of Nashville.... snow is not a huge issue.
Also, I'm not a fan of run-flats (have them on my wife's Countryman)
My mini is my daily transportation and with the 1.5L 3cyl gets my car around town and down the interstate pretty well.
The OEM size for the 17" rims would be 205/45 r17
I've looked at several brands... but not 100% sure as to what I want.
Cooper
Michelin
Bridgestone

I'm leaning towards an all season tire with good tread wear rating... more so than a performance, but of course I would love
Look at tire weights when you are shopping. You are adding a ton with the larger wheels already so you might dislike the loss in uumph if you pick a heavy piece of rubber to add to the mix.
A lot of people like the Conti DWS from what I hear.
