Question about wheels

I purchased my first Mini about a year ago an f56 and I have been toying with the idea of throwing one of my sets of custom wheels for my e90 328 on if I could find a way. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had any success with fitting 5x120's on the 5x112 f56 with adapters. A lot of the adapters I see for Audi / vw and Mercedes do not seem like they would have the right center bore size. Thanks in advance.

Problem is I bet the offset is the wrong way. You probably have 30-35mm offset for your E90, so once you add in adapters they would stick way way too far out on a Mini, which has much higher offset. Unless your 90 is a XI model that typically host higher offsets

The centerbore issue isnt really a big one. You can get custom adaptors made easily...or could have the ~56mm VW bore cut out to the ~73 BMW. Either way I dont think its happening due to reason above.

Thanks

I do have an XI and the wheels I am running are 30mm. Excuse for over fenders or a wide body kit? Lol I was just hoping to make use of a set I was not using anymore. Thanks for the response.

Only way I could see would be to custom re-drill your hubs to 5X120 (Like us R60's) so to directly bolt on the et30 wheels. Then they would likely work okay, especially if lowered.

The upside is hubs are simple to get on and off. Downside....not sure how easy it is to redrill and tap them (as well as the brake rotors). I think the Bimmer is 12mm lugs and the Mini 14mm. Maybe just use 12mm lugs. You'd have to be dead set on the wheels lol

Just put the wheels on the 60 lol.

But even easier (for the wheel hubs)...See if you can discern any differences on RealOEM diagrams at least. Its likely they are different. Plus having to take wheels and brakes off both cars just to see may suck
