Winter Tires for 2013 Mini Cooper S Coupe
Hi Guys,
I’m new to this forum. I own a 2013 Mini Cooper S Coupé which I bought just earlier this year. It came with run flats which I immediately replaced with the Michelin Pilot Super Sport.
Now that winter is here in Minnesota - yeah we already had our first snow 2 days ago I need to get winter tires. My tire size is 205/45 R17.
I had a VW CC before the Mini and I still have my winter setup for the car. The rim size is the same so 17” and I was wondering if that would fit my Mini. The actual tire size is 235/45 R17 and they have Bridgestone Blizzaks. The question is would they fit and work well with the Mini?
Thanks a lot !!

Bridgestone Potenzas are runflats, all season. They do excellent in the ice. they come in 205/45 r17. Below is the difference between the two tires, so I doubt it would work:

Hello,
I'm new to this site also. I have an '11 version of this same car.
Does anyone have long term experience with a particular tire? I'm on Long Island. We don't get as much snow as other places, but when we do....
Anyway; what about snow vs. All Season M+S?
Thanks

I have had really good results from Hankook Winter I-Pike and General Altimax Artic tires. Have used some form of these on all cars I have owned, and they absolutely kill it in the snow and slick stuff.
