Haywood,

I really appreciate it........thanks for taking the time & effort to do this .

Your MINI's the exact-same color combo as the one I've just ordered. I think it looks great and would be even better with a little drop and some 205/55-15 tires to fill out the arches a bit.

Nice one

These are easily my favorite future wheels. . . I've been considering a set of 15" BBS and it is nice to see some people doing them out there!

Oh yeah. What would you pay for a perfect set of silver R99s with 3100 miles?

With just the 205/55/15's, I think that the wheel gap will be no different than the stock 17's.

And you wont have do the "Rice Burner Crawl" over speed bumps.

Did I mention how much better the car is with 15's

15's are where it's at. And I love your new wheels.

That's more than I paid for my set when new from my local MINI dealer.

Are we talking about the same wheel?

$816 is a 20% discount off the MSRP of the grey R99s. If you did better than that, you got a smokin' deal.

Yes, R99s, see my gallery pic. The price at my dealership in Germany at the time I bought my car was 1100 Euros ($1265), and that was with Dunlop 205/45/17 SP Sport 9000s. So, new wheels and new runflat tires for $1265. To buy wheels separately, it's under $200 a wheel, plus we American military get another 16% discount on top of that using a VAT form (so we don't pay German tax). All prices in Germany are about equal to what you pay elsewhere on average, but 16% tax is included in the price. Of course, not everything on the German economy is a good deal. Oil is triple what you pay in the US. Thank goodness for the Base Exchange and the fact the BMW/MINI dealers let you bring your own oil for services (no free oil changes in Germany).
