Keep em. They're metal and therefore don't have to be replaced every time you mount new tires on the wheel. They also move around a lot less than rubber valve stems when you are pressing a tire pressure gauge to the valve stem.

I think I will keep the valve stems, although the Enkei's came with them, I like the way the 949 stems look.

However, the hubcentric rings are still up for grabs! They don't have the same hub size as the enkei's so... if anyone wants them, shoot me a PM, we can talk about a price.

I also just took the pics, gonna upload them now so hopefully it won't take too long!

I will as soon as they're on the car. Wheel studs are on the way. Only thing left to do is powder coat and then installation.

Here's a few pics!

So it was difficult getting the right color...they're actually darker than in the pics but kinda change tint in the light, if that makes sense. In a nutshell, it can be a different shade of bronze from a different angle.

I'll have pics of it on the car tomorrow!

Looking good ! I really love the way a Mini looks on 15" wheels.

What tires are you running...those sidewalls look like a 205/55 ? Also , did you end up running a spacer on the rear at all ?

I love them too! Acceleration was improved as well as steering.

I'm running hankook ventus v2 concept 2 in 205/50. Going from 45 to 50 really softened the harshness of my coilovers!

No rubbing at all at the rears along the inside of the wheels! I believe for the 6UL a 3-5 mm spacer is needed so it's more than enough for these wheels. I'm going to lower my car a bit more so I'll have to worry about rubbing along the fenders since they are slightly sticking out

I guess those are some beefy 205/50's because most look a bit small and those seem to fill up the wheel wells nicely. Im running Hankooks myself ( Evo V12 v2's) and they are decent tires for the money.

Im running nice wheels (17" TSW's) but they are just over 20lbs each and running a light 10-12lb 15in wheel would be a nice and noticeable change. Im looking to soften up the ride too and a 50 series would help alot in that dept as you found out. Plus, i just love the way a mini looks on 15's and those Enkei's you have are one of the best looking 15's ive seen on a mini.

Im half tempted to just order up a set of 15's....the other half aint soo tempted...

I heard hankooks are beefier than most tire brands. I don't mind it at all! So far these tires have been good to me.

If you're thinking about gettin 15's, also consider that your car will be naturally lowered slightly as well as a bigger wheel gap. If you're Hal-tempted to get 15's, 16's would be a good choice!

Personally, I don't like TSW's, but every person is different! I really want my mini to have a race/street look to it and RPF1's really give that to me. I'm pretty picky though... I spent a year looking for wheels because I couldn't decide hahaha

So what are you guys doing in terms of lug studs?

I have a set of 15x9 +36 Jongbloeds with 225 NT01s from my Miata that I want to put on my R56 S...

They're both 4x100 so it should be okay, however, I think the R56 thread size is M14 x 1.25. I'm not sure if R56's come with lug bolts or actual studs. You can get the Way Motor Works stud conversion and convert from M14 x 1.25 50 M12 x 1.50 (more common to find lugs):

http://www.waymotorworks.com/m14-to-...rsion-kit.html

I bought these for my mini, but haven't thrown them on yet. They're pretty high quality. My cousin advised me not to put them on and just stay with stock lug bolts, but thinking about it, it seems safer to use lug studs with bolts since the studs and the lugs sandwich the wheel rather than just having a lug bolt screw into a thread. Pretty much the same concept, though.

WMW 14 to 12 mm stud conversion. Have had it on the car for literally hundreds of wheel changes and no issues. I use 949 racing lugs and replace them typically every season or two depending on how often wheels are swapped.
