I ran this sam setup for quite some time. Work perfectly fine but your suspension setup needs to be done correctly. this will 100% rub if youre lowered.

I used the RSE11 wheels however the specs are the same.

Quote: Hi all, I just joined this forum and wanted to know if these wheels would fit my F56S? I have stock suspension and brakes.

https://pmctire.com/en/wheels/motegi...t-45-72-6.tire

I was planning on putting some 215/45/17 tires on them. Would I have to do anything to my car at all in order for these to fit, or would they just bolt right up? I've seen other Cooper S's online that have them fitted, but I'm paranoid and want to be absolutely sure that these fit before I spend the money on them, lol

edit: also wondering about these, https://www.motegiracing.com/product...sh=satin-black in the 17x7 size
Link #1 would work fine. You would need a hubcentric spacer to make them fit perfectly.

Link#2 would fit perfectly. Try some spacers from ECS's wheel fitment kit to see if you can acieve the fitent you're looking for.

Great, thanks! I'll go with #2 since I like them better anyway. All I need now is some new tpms sensors and I'm golden. I assume the OEM Mini sensors would work?

Anyone ever run 215/40/18 in the front and 225/40/18 in the back, lowered? Right now I have 225/40/18 all around, and on my BC coilovers nothing rubs, but I'm up almost stock height. Wheels are 42 offset. I also have to use the BC 4mm spacers in the front to clear the top inside from rubbing the spring. Kinda has me sticking out in the front. I'm pretty sure if I go to 215 in the front I'll be able to lower it some, and not rub the arch on large dips. The back with 225 doesn't rub the arch at all, and I don't think it will if I go lower. Anyone chime in with arch rubbing in the front, on 215/40/18 on a 42 wheel with coilovers?

What's your wheel width? An 18x8 +42 will sit closer to the strut than an 18x7 +42. My wheels are 18x7.5 +42 wrapped in 225/40/18 with no spacers. I don't get any rubbing at all in the front or rear. But I'm not lowered yet. Coilovers are sitting on a shelf in my garage right now so hopefully in a few weeks a buddy and I can get them on. But if I've done my math right I won't need any spacers for them. BC Racing says that if using the stock 17x7 +54 wheels I'll need to use the included 5mm spacers in the front. But my wheels' inner rim sits 5mm further away from the strut than the stock wheels so that would seem to imply my math checks out.

Dang, I thought I put that in there. 18x7.5 same as yours. If you lower it you'll need the spacers in the front with 225. I thought I would be fine too, but nope. That's why I'm asking if anyone's put 215 in the front and 225 in the back. I'd only have to buy 2 tires instead of 4.

I think I saw an earlier post somewhere, but really 215/40/18 or 215/45/17 is the way to go on a 7.5 wide wheel with a 40-45 offset. You can drop about 1.5 inches from stock before you start having issues with rubbing the plastic in the arches. 215/35/18 or 215/40/17 might let you drop 2 inches, without rubbing. I think that's about it if you want to go the lowered route on the F series. I installed the rennline plate too. cause I thought I had it all figured out. Heck, I could still be wrong. lol.

I've got the Rennline skidplate on too. Unfortunately, my wheels don't come in a 5x112 17" so I was pushed into 18s. Aand the smallest size PS4S come in is 215/35 for 18" wheels. That's too small of a sidewall for me. I'll have to play around with camber. That might be the only option to get me a low as I want with the wheels I have.

Do you have picture of your setup?

And btw someone here running Sparco Assetto Gara 18x8 ET35 or 48? I am with Stock suspension in a F56 JCW. Want to see how much it pokes out.

Wheel Fitment 2014 f56
Hi guys, this is my first post to the forum so please bear with me

I’m planning to get some new wheels for my 2014 cooper s (f56). I’m currently considering the “Sparco Assetto Gara”, however, I’m kinda worried about fitment/rubbing issues. I have read through the whole thread and seems like people have found a sweet spot around 18x8 ET45. The ones I’m considering are 18x8 ET48 or 17x7.4 ET35 and probably run them on 215 or 225/40/18.

I drive a stock MCS, no big brakes, not lowered and most likely no plans to do either any time soon. Do you guys think I would face issues with either of those two options? I would very much appreciate your advice!

Volk TE37 Saga 18 x 7.5 +42
DWS06 225/40/18
JCW Sport suspension

No rubbing or scrubbing that I've noticed but I don't drive this car much anymore. I've put maybe 100 miles on the car since I got the wheels.

2019 F56 hardtop JCW
Hello Everyone

I am new to the chat, and I have been reading endlessly about the different sizes and mods.
For now I don't want to touch the suspension and my question is does the OZ 18x8 +45ET Superlegera with 225 40 18 fit in the F56 JCW with no need for spacers or any mods. ?
Tire rack sells it as it just fits perfectly but here I see people using 10mm and 12mm spacer which I'm trying to avoid.
My other option and for the sake of a smoother ride was to put 17 x 7.5 with 215 45 although for this one I will have to get a different wheel.
Any input on this will be appreciated.

Besides the wheels, I just bought the RACECHIP GTS which will arrive on wed, and the AC SCHNITZER front lip and I still have to decide on the exhaust
I am thinking cat back REMUS or the JCW PRO

thks

try contacting the manufacturer. I think they made a new model that fits. The previous ones do not without a lot of swapping of part as far as i was told by a buddy in Turkey who tried it then just went back.

i was there to. My recommendation to anyone is go 215 45 and go with 40 offset max and stick to 17’s if you can. 225 will make your car feel like a fat cow and chew your brakes a lot faster. 205 was a bit small. 215 might be the sweet spot. 45 is not a good offset for jcw go 40 but for cooper s 45 is prob good fit. Flares are a bit different on jcw.

I'd like to fit OZ Racing 150 5H wheels 18x8 size to my mini F56 D and I already have -30/-30mm Eibach springs installed
The wheel comes with 2 offset options : ET48 and ET35
Which one do you guys think it would fit without rubbing issues and preferably without spacers?
I am likely to go ET48 with 225/40/18 tires since I don't like poking out and ET35 is really rare to find
As I read over 1k posts under the subject, couldn't be sure about it since its by the limits

JCW flares simply add a bit of a splash guard lip on the outside. They don't have any extra clearance on the inside where it matters.

I decided to go with the Rse12 from Neuspeed 18 x 7.5 +40 after all the research seems the best fit with no mods.
I bought the wheels with no tires as I will try with my local tire shop 215 40 and 225 40 and see which one goes better
I'm more inclined to the 215 and if I need add width I can always use a spacer .. I will post some more once I get the wheels and start trying out.
RaceChip GTS already installed, Manhart Graphics already done

Finally done JCW F56
So finally it’s done
2019 F56 JCW
schnitzer from lip
manhart style graphics minus the sides
racechip GTS
NM 25 mm rear sway
NM strut Brace
JCW pro exhaust
and lastly the wheels .... RSE12 18x7,5 wit Michelin rubber 215 40 18.
No mods to the suspension yet
everything fits fine no issues with the calipers no running no nothing
Still I think I would like to lower it 1 inch maybe.
