Going off topic here, but interested that your insurance paid for an accident that was caused by aftermarket mods. Curious how that works.
...and I vote blasphemy to powder coat those TE37s! Haha. The matte black with red stripes is just so nice. I'm a huge fan of bronze, but when the wheels are already an amazing color, nah. So that size is made only in that color? Maybe an awesome dealer would be able to work with them and get a custom color? Dunno how Volk is with that stuff. What about running 5x114 with wobble bolts? I'd rather do that and get the wheels in Volk's own bronze finish.
I'll PM you as to not derail the thread more than I already have

Yeah, I haven't been able to find any other Sagas in 5x112 that would potentially fit other than the two sizes I listed in an earlier comment. The Time Attacks on the other hand only come in that one size for 5x112 at least as far as I can tell. My F56 is Chili Red so I don't mind the black wheels and my current wheels are black. I just happen to love the bronze. I haven't looked into asking a dealer if they could do something custom. But I would imagine if I did that would bring the price from $900 a wheel to $1500+.
It's worth asking... the only issue may be lead time. Evasive is right next to Mackin, Volk's distributor.
But on red... I'd stick with black. It'd look super sharp with the matching pin stripes and everything. Just IMHO =)
I sent Evasive an email asking if it's possible. The worst that can happen is they say they can't. In which case I'm right back to where I am now. I don't really mind lead time unless it's in years rather than months. Gonna do suspension first then wheels so I plan on wheels going on around spring time. As for wobble bolts, I've never heard of those. Those are kinda interesting and may be an option. Not sure how much I'd trust them though. But it would get me into 5x114.3 which has 10x as many options as 5x112.
I found this about wobble bolts, great explanation. The name sounds bad, but I'd be ok running them, from what I understand. And yeah, a LOT more choice. You might have to get the centerbore machined out, or get adapters, but both are easy, cheap, and safe (assuming metal adapters).
Tony from Evasive Motorsports got back to me this morning. Great response time by the way! He said they would need a group order of 5-10 sets in order to do a custom spec. So uh... who wants to buy some Volks?
What size, color, and price are we talking about for a group order?
Color is bronze. You can see it a few posts up.
Size would be 17" or 18". Both work for me but I prefer 17 as they're lighter. Width 7.5" and offset around +40. Going up or down a couple mm should be fine for my fitment.
So 5x112 17/18x7.5 +38-42.
And for price it'll be around $3200. Tony said he might be able to get Volk to do a 5-10% discount but no promises right now.
Can someone help me out here, I really want a wider tire on my F56 Cooper S.
Currently rocking Eibach 25/25mm lowering springs, Eibach Pro 15/20mm Spacers (front/rear) with JCW Cup Spoke wheels.
Tires are 205/40 r18
I really want to see how wide i can go, preferably 235 on some 8,5" wheels.
Does anything know if this is possible with my current setup (removing spacer is possible of course)?
If not, what is the widest possible?

Thanks so much!
See my posts above about fitment of an 8.5" wheel with 225/40 tires. I'm barely clearing my suspension and poking out of the fenders. 235 is only going to exaggerate those issues. I wouldn't say it's impossible, but you're likely going to run into issues.
Makes me wonder though... If the 225's on a Mini will give you less grip on the road than the 205's... Too much tire?? (especially when pavement is wet)

There's a member here, Darby?, with an orange F56 with some wide wheels and tires that he auto crosses. Seems to place pretty well with his setup.
Hey guys. First time Mini owner here. I recently bought an F56 that came on stock 17" wheels with Blizzaks. That's fine for right now (February in the Northeast) but looking ahead I'd like to get summer tires on a separate set of wheels. I've had Pilot Super Sports on my WRX wagon for years and love them. Based on reading though this thread I've come to a few conclusions:
1) I think I'm in love with the NM RSe12 and RSe10
2) I absolutely DO NOT want the tire to poke out of the wheel well (i hate that look) but I also don't want to stretch the tire
could i fit a 225/40/18 tire on an 18x7.5 ET45 and not rub?
I fitted the NM RSe12 JCW in 7.5x18 ET40 with 225/40R18 Michelin pilot sport 2 tyres
The tyres fit the wheel well and do not look too wide for the rim and ( at least with some aggrssive camber around -1.5 front and - 2.0 rear ) there is almost no scrubbing at all ( maybe there can be some really slight if you really take a bump and the suspension go to full compression
or if hitting a bump at full lock but really slight )
This setup also clears the bigger coilover struts without flat spot ( I have fitted ast 5100 but it should be similar with nitron or bilstein etc ) without using any spacer
The only thing to consider is that that wheel offset ( also depending on the tyre size ) will move the scrub radius ( virtual suspension geometry line that is located at the center of the tyre ) to a slightly outer position and you can feel that by a less self centering wheel.
To make things worst on the MINI F56 if you add camber it seems that the caster angle is slightly reduced and it s I think the opposite you would want.
To compensate for that I fitted some caster offset powerflex bushings that brought back caster to about oem spec and slightly reduced front camber (from -2.0 to -1.6) and used oem spec toe in and the steering feels much better.
I think it can be further improved by either reducing a little bit more the camber (to get slightly more caster on the F56 Mini) and using a little more than standard toe in (to compensate for the scrub radius less self centering feel) or by using some top mounts that
I was planning on putting some 215/45/17 tires on them. Would I have to do anything to my car at all in order for these to fit, or would they just bolt right up? I've seen other Cooper S's online that have them fitted, but I'm paranoid and want to be absolutely sure that these fit before I spend the money on them, lol

TireRack did not list these wheels for the Cooper S. They listed them for the JCW, which made no sense, since any wheel that fits the JCW should fit a Cooper S. They fit fine with no clearance problems, The provided TPMS sensors were picked up by the car and work fine. Wife's daily driver, so I was more interested in appearance than performance, although the lower profile larger diameter tires significantly tightened up the handling which was less than inspiring on the stock 16 wheels with all season tires.
