Wondering which stock MINI 17" wheels are the lightest- my S is coming w/ 17" white alloys. It's CR/W, and I really like the look of white wheels to go w/ the roof and mirror caps. Anyone have some ultra light after-market white wheels they'd recommend?

Centerline are about as light as you are going to get in white, 12 pounds lighter then the boat anchors you have coming.

Stock 17" wheels for the MINI would be the very heavy and expensive R90 two piece Italian Job spoked rims at 24 pounds each or the even heavier S-lyte rims at 25.1 pounds each. Perhaps this trend of heavy 17" rims will change with the release of the new style rim from MINI but that is not known exactly when.

Aftermarket white rims in 17" are fairly limited. Tirerack.com would be worth checking but many styles are backordered or out of stock. Centerline RPMs 17x7 are good at about 13 pounds a rim. All of the Centerline 17" rims in the Dominator series are the same weight, just check if you can find any in white that would be in stock.

Or contact Webbmotorsport he sells white Centerline RPM 17x7 or AK Monzas in 16" in white which are light and less expensive.

May I suggest white AK Monzas in 16x6.5, at 14# you will save nearly 10# per wheel.

Anyone who has the Centerline RPM's - could you give an idea of price paid? I'm looking at these and SSR Competitions ($355 retail at Tire Rack) @ 12.8 lbs each.

Excellent info here- thanks! The centerlines look awesome, come in white, and at 13 lbs are about HALF the weight of the S-lite alloys! The price isn't to bad either.

For the Kosei K1 offset is 45mm and weight is 16 pounds each.
By comparison the Centerline RPMs have 42mm offset , weigh about 13+ pounds and cost $285 to 315 each.
