I don't think so. There would most likely be a tire rubbing issue if I lowered the car at all.

Great looking wheels! Luv the IB!

Both Ken and I lowered our cars without rubbing issue. Depending on the off set of the wheels and tire size and lowering springs, you may or may not have rubbing issue.

Kypt, those wheels look good on your ride. I waas looking in to the gunmetal version last year and was even thinking about them again before I finally decided on the JCWs.

I do not know what itre brand and size you went with but because of the 40mm ofset they will most likely rub if you have someonbe in the back seat. My Antera 309s had a 40 offset and thats what they did with they stock suspension.

With that 40mm offset, I would definately keep a nice coat of wax and polish on the doors. I hated the way the tires kicked up junk and sand on the car.

kypt- What size tire did you get? If you did 205/45/17's or 215/40/17's
you're probably okay with the Alta springs even with your 40mm offset.
I won't take my chances though if you got 215/45/17's.

I actually kept the stock run-flats for now (not sure the size off the top of my head). When those are no longer useful, I'm going to switch to regular 'get-a-flat-and-you're-screwed' tires.

Aren't the JCWs 18s? Are there issues with lowering springs for those?

The JCW wheels are 18" and the recommended tires are 105/40/18, which I'm using in my car. With Alta springs, the car has no rubbing.
