Anyone on Motegi MR 125's? I'm trying to decide between them and Enkei Imola's. The Imola's would be my first choice - I like the look, but the Motegi's are 4 lbs lighter and are 10% off on Tire Rack at the moment...

 

Got me some 18x8 Motegi SP10's wrapped in some Kumho Ecsta LE Sport XL's size 225/40ZR18.

 

Bonnie Rocket - well done! There's a lot to like about that MINI. I was looking at those Motegi's in black, but didn't care for the fact that they kept the silver inside.

No rubbing with 225's? Those 18's look packed in there. No matter - the look is killer!

 

Thanks man. The extra rubber keeps the car glued to the road, and about 98% of the time, rubbing isnt an issue. But I have to be honest, there's rubbing when I drive over a big dip or bump at speed. But it's well worth it considering all the benefits.

Almost got those Sparco wheels in chrome. Glad I didn't, not really enjoying the light grey/silver either, since I started dechroming.

Minmin- those wheels are high on my list, but in 17. I was told the 17's are around 18lbs. What about your 18's?

 

To tell you the truth, I am not sure. It never really crossed my mind to find out.

 

We just picked up our new JCW with Black Star Bullets. I like these as they're not glossy like most of the black MINI wheels, they also have the bright highlights:
