215/45ZR17 Sumitomo's fit a crown spoke?

Recently started using my Cooper S with Crown Spokes for a 50 miles each way commute and I still have the run flats on. It's killing me and the car. My question is, I have a set of Sumitomo HTRZ III's, sized 215/45ZR 17 from a previous car with only 5K miles on them, will they fit the crown spokes I currently have? The current tires are 205/45-17's. I know the 215's are a slight bit wider, but I would suspect they would fit. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks in advance.

I had crown spokes on my first gen when I got it. I believe they are 7" wide. Anyway, lots of people do just what you propose, and are happy with the outcome. I ran the 205's, and there seemed to be plenty of room for one size up.

Thanks Alex and to the others that posted as well.

Also, Alex, what do you recommend for fixing flats since I won't have a spare?

You can carry a extended mobility kit, like the Conti comfort kit. I also suggest carrying a plug kit with you. If your car has the sensors, it will be very difficult to get the sealant into the tire and wheel, and you will certainly render the TPMS sensor unusable. Plugging and topping up the air pressure would be your best bet. Many owners invest in a compact spare tire and wheel to carry with them for additional convenience.
