What's the best way to store your summer tires. I just had some new winter tires and wheels put on and I need to know what's the best thing to do with my 17" S-lites over the winter. Stand them on end, stack them, deflate and stack, keep inside the house or in the garage? Any suggestions?
-thanks

I keep mine in the garage, stacked and under pressure, with a couple of pieces of cardboard between each wheel/tire combo, to avoid scratching the finish on any of them. Also keep by lugs there too. Other nice means are mounted on the wall with hanging posts that go through the hub holes.

I also store them with cardboard inbetween. I made a platform on wheels so they are easy to maneuver around the garage.

bradb- i like your little wheel stack cart. that's a great idea. i think im
going to get me a piece of plywood and some casters and do the same
this fall. i got 3 stacks in my garage and sometimes I need to clean
off the spider webs and dead leaves that get behind them.

Thanks for the advice all. And Bradb, nice garage! Looks like you taks some serious pride in it. The floor looks nicer than the floor inside of my house.
