Ok….My concern is that the gunmetal will not be to dark for the Cosmic Blue…I've seen them on the White Countryman in pictures. So all I would need to by is the 4 TPMS..for around 50 per sensor ? I'd like to keep the existing set as a set to either sell or for the winter. I noticed your price is about 20.00 less per wheel..that will help for shipping. What's your feelings on the gunmetal with the Cosmic (dark) Blue? Also are they in stock and are the Sensors available from you as well. Thanks again! Fred

Flat black looks great when the lights hits it. Too bad it doesn't come with a polished lip or I would be all over it in a heartbeat.
Can someone with gunmetal enlighten me to the actual color of it please. I understand gunmetal to be a slight bronze in color, but all the pictures in the thread show that the color is just a dark silver. Kind of like anthracite. Does the rim look bronze at all in person?

I chose the flat blacks due to the entire wheel being black without the polished lip. with the brake dust from the car, the flat black hides a lot of it. it also saves me from cleaning my wheels every few days.
as far as the backspacing. i believe they are the same as stock wheels. i'm running 15mm H&R wheel spacers on mine. i didn't care for the look of a sucked in wheel either.

Here's gloss black and gunmetal:

The 16x7 RBs we sell are usually +40. The 17x7.5 are +45.
Flat black doesn't come with a polished lip, but gloss black does.
Here's gloss black and gunmetal:
Rota's "gunmetal" to me looks more like a glossy, dark metallic brown. But again, see the picture above.

Thanks for the pic. I do see a bit of a brownish tint to it in that picture.
My '11 MC is pure silver and I'm just trying to decide whether to go with flat black or gunmetal. While the flat black is nice I do prefer a little contrast provided by the polished lip. Gloss black is a little.. too glossy..

This is a great thread! Getting ready to purchase the 17" RB's for my wife's black Cooper S, but have a question about the tires.
I need to keep runflats on the car, so she doesnt' get stranded somewhere. Looks like appropriate size tire is to go to a 215/45/17, but they don't make runflats apparently for that size.
SO, has anyone put the 205/45/17's on the 7.5" wheel? Is it stupid looking? I know it's not much of a difference, but don't want a dumb looking setup.

Thanks but that's not really my question. I need to keep runflats because we don't have room to carry a spare. So I need to know what the OEM runflat tire size (205) looks like on a 7.5" rim. I don't think it's enough to matter, but just wanted to see if anyone had an experience with it.
