I've just mounted the TireRack Blizzak package, and am trying to reset the tire pressure monitor. I followed the manual instructions, then drove about 20 miles but the monitor light is still on. Could this be a result of snowy/slippery roads? Any suggestions? Should I just keep resetting and driving until it eventually goes off?

Hmmmmmmm....

First, check to make sure that all 4 tires have the same pressure.
32 PSI should be fine for any tire.

Then, maybe read the sidewalls and make sure all 4 tires are the same.
(This one is a long shot)

Then, keep resetting the darn thing, and if you can't eventually get
it to stay off, it's back to the dealer for you.

Keep us informed of your progress.

mine came on the other day..but all 4 tires were at 35psi (where i always keep em).
i did have a tiny bit of wheel spin on some gravel on the pavement which may
have triggered it. i reset it and hasn't come back on..

i would recheck all tire pressures and reset it and try again. if it keeps
coming on, your speed sensors may be at fault.

if you have a lot of snow already it may affect it.

However, if you don't have snow, try pressing the button harder. I've had some problems resetting mine in the past.

Well, I'm thinking that when you hold the tire pressure monitor reset monitor button down too long, the light stays on. When you just hold it in for like three seconds, it goes out quickly. The manual isn't very helpful here, as it says to hold it down until the light stays on for "a few seconds" or something.

So perhaps it really wasn't a problem after all.
