Can you guys get the DayLites in 17"? Specifically the Orange.

 

Can you PM me a price for a replacement Feather, 17" in the satin black? My wife curbed one of our wheels and it might be cheaper to just buy a new one....

 

Just bought the feathers and deciding on tires. Like the idea of running 235/40/17 even though the manufacturer says 8 inch rim is the smallest recommended. Curious, why the 5mm spacers?

I used the 5mm spacers because I wanted the wheels as flush with the outside of the fenders as possible.

I use 235's on my Feathers too and really like the look and the handling. But there are of course other choices.

I have a 05 JCW that's running Koni Yellows and Wildwood's on the front. Right now it has the 18" R95's with 215 35 18 and believe me it rides rough on our roads. It also has the PSRS which doesn't help for a smooth ride. It has spacers on it to clear the Wildwood/R95's. I was thinking of a black wheel using 17" Feathers and a 205 or 215 40 or 45 to fill the wheel well. Right now it's not lowered and don't know it I can lower it much. I like the lower in the front stance these cars have now.

 

I personally like 17" wheels on the R56, that should be a great set up.

I have the Konig Deceptions available at a great price.

 

I have a R53. Would these be as good a choice as Feathers?

 

Would the Deception clear Stoptech BBK's without spacers? Are they available in silver?

 

Thanks for asking! While we haven't tried them, I don't suspect it will be an issue at all. These have nicely concave back side and they are 7.5" wide too. The wheel is only available in Black / Silver as shown above.

The Feathers ar 7" and the Deceptions are 7.5"

Ha info does help, but not with my decisions... was starting to like the idea of the 7.5", maybe I'll go Deceptions. They fit over the jcw brakes no problem?

 

Both Feather and Deception clear the JCW Brakes NO PROBLEM!

 

Would it be cool for a 215/45/17 or a 205/45/17 tire with the Deceptions?

 

Because of the width of the Deception being 7.5" I wouldn't go any narrower than 215.

Ok thanks, I thought they were available in 16" as well for some reason. Would a 15" fit R53 in the available backspacing?

 

They MIGHT fit in the 15"'s on the R53. Without trying one I honestly can't say for sure!
