show me your WHEELS w/ 5-LUG ADAPTERS

I'm beginning to think this is the way I'm going to go, with as many different styles I've seen, and the more options in a 5 lug setup, and more options of 8" + size wheels, I think I'm going to do this myself.

I've seen many on the show me your WHEELS post and in the show me your LOWERED MINI post... well here's a new one just for these. Show me what yer got, and describe your setups. I'm curious, and want pics!

I guess nobody thinks they have this? I've seen a few on here before. Have a few pics of VW's with this setup, like stock wheels from another car as well. Nobody has tried this? I know of one MINI on here that has, just wondering if there were others.

CCW will build you just about whatever you want. And they are only about 600 each for our cars.

lol ONLY 600 each.

lilred, I haven't seen any Minis running adaptors. As you said its very very common in the VW world. A friend of mine has porsche 997 turbo wheels on his GTI.

The recipe is basically just wide wheels (8" +)with high offsets. Also adaptors don't exist for every set of bolt patterns. You'll need to research what patterns you can adapt to 4x100.

600 each is not a bad price for fully custom built three piece wheels. I paid a bit over 10K for my set of HRE 845R's that are on my Cobra. Being as this is my daily driver and I just wanted a nice set of wheels for it, I decided not to go with a set of HRE's at the cost of $1,200.00 each from HRE for it and gladly paid CCW to build me a set of Classics. There is a lot to be said about a nice set of wheels that were built specifically for your car taking into consideration everything you want and what the engineers who built the car are asking for as well.

True 600 a wheel isn't bad for fully custom wheels.

Still not many people can or want afford $2400 for wheels.

I only said lol because I'm in my early twenties and at only 600 a wheel it would only take about 6 months of my expendable income to pay for them.

Don't get me wrong I would love to be able to burn that much money on wheels.

Konky ran them to fit a set of Porsche Phonedials, Kyle has a set on his R50 & Coen ran them on his R56 MCS. Like was already mentioned, you have to find the adaptors you need & a set of wheels with a high enough offset to work with 15mm (or so) adaptors.
