VOLK TE37 Question

Hi All. I have a big issue and big question that goes with the issue .

So I bought some Volk TE37 rims, used for a decent price. On the back of the rims it say "Ray's Eng, Made In Japan, and 4x100" and has an offset of 40. So i thought ok, it will fit the Mini S fine (BTW I have 07 MCS).

Problem
1) Found out that the lug bolts on the mini are 14-1.25
-Solved by getting Stud conversion from 14-1.25 --> 12-1.5

2) Huge issue that boggles the mind .... I tried to put the rims on and it doesn't fit? Came down my local tire shop and they say it is a 4x108 rims. Not sure how that would make sense, since the rims doens't look like it has been drilled (perfect circle lugs hole)

Any help on how to put the rims on would be nice. thanks all in advance.

4x108 is an odd, but not uncommon size. 4 lug Mustang, Fiesta, Contour, some older Audi, and french cars like to use that size.

Since Rays will make you anything you want, they very well could be 108. Are you sure you read the rim correctly? An 8 might look like a 0 if it covered in brake dust or you dont look closely.

I just doubled checked. they say 4x100. In any case if they are 108, is there any conversion kit out there that can convert the pattern? Or should maybe fill in the holes and redrill ?

I would sell and buy a different set.

They still make these wheels, so its not like you are trying to get a rare set of wheels to fit your car.

MINI fitment 4x100
These Rims 4x108

It's sort of like trying to put a circle block in an octagon hole
