Itching to install new treads-anyone else?

So I purchased some webbed R98's a couple months ago, got it blasted and powdercoated black, slapped on some summer dedicated treads(my first ever!) and I'm FRICKING ITCHING TO TRY THEM! It's supposed to stay above 40 degrees for the next week in WI and I'm sooooooooo tempted to put them on. :( Actually, I'm tempted to wash/clay Einstein tonight, buff him tomorrow and wax on Sunday(give him a 3 day break too!).

Anyone else sharing this sentiment? Or am I the only crazy one?

Well if the weather is warm enough and not snowy then yes you can try them but realize that summer tires will not do well in temperatures under about 35 degrees. The rubber is very hard at cold temperatures.

Which tires are you using?

Threads are clothes or strings of information posted on a forum like this question and responses. Treads are tires. Have fun.

Yup. Got some new 17" rims sitting in the living room... tires are hitting the local shop on Monday.

Can't wait to get them on!

Above 60 for next two days. Unfortunately, those are the highs and for the rest of the week, it's gonna be closer to 40's high. Bleh, gonna hold off on them. Using Falkens FK452's.

Edited the original post regarding treads. :P
