Moving to Memphis, TN in two weeks. I know I'll be on the edge of the snow belt with very little accumulated snow on the ground at any time, but are OEM Pirelli Eufori@ on a 2003 Cooper S ok to be driven year round? They are considered a summer tire so I understand they will be harder in the colder weather. I just put a new set on the car and I would like to keep them on year round.

I'd expect them to work ok, untill you get below 45 degrees grip will begin to roll off. This won't become aparent until for example, you try to make use of 100% of your brakes, then you'll find the tires aren't maintaing the same grip level as they did in warmer temps. They would be accentuated in water at the cold temp, as having lower grip. Snow would be a no-go.

So you're implying what I feared? Winter tires are required?

For your area an all-season tire may be a better choice. I don't think winter tires for you would make sense, because you lack severe snow and ice conditions with any regularity.

Here are options for runflats that may better suit you for your next set.
