My new 2009 MC will be in next Wednesday. I upgraded to the 17" wheels and it has new runflats. I am considering replacing the runflats with regular street tires. If anyone is interested in a new set of runflats let me know, I am sure we can hammer out a price that will be well below retail. I am from Baton Rouge, LA so just keep that in mind. You can contact me directly at robert@phys.lsu.edu

Thanks,
Rob

I replaced the OEM Dunlop SP Sport 9000 DSST with Continental ContiProContact SSR; both brands are 205/45 17.

Update:

Rolling Resistance is a lot lower with the Continentals. In 6th gear @ 3000 RPM I am geting 75 MPH opposed to 70 MPH with the Dunlops. The first two tanks of gas resulted in a 3-4 MPG increase with the Continentals both on the road and in town.

The Ride is firmer especially in corners and the handling is a lot better with the Continentals. The biggest difference with the Continentals, they are QUIET at all speeds and on different road surfaces. Overall, I rate the Continentals far superior to the Dunlop run flats.
