Outstanding looking! I think this is one of the nicest looking set-ups I've seen. Did you get the 37mm or 42mm offset, and do you have aftermarket springs?

bravo! do i dare ask how much those set you back, I'd love to get a set of 18 inch gun metal grey ones for my DS/W.

I purchased them from a VW guy and he never mounted them on the car so they are NEW (You can't get the White anymore from what I have been told). With wheels and tires everything ran me $1400 bucks.

I am running a 37mm offset and they do rub in the rear do to the fact I am running H&R springs, but the look is awesome. I will be doing a little triming tomorrow morning.

Thanks for the compliments

do u notice an overall diameter diff since u went to 40 series instead of oem 45?

vdubdoug Sep 6, 2003 02:31 PM

Red,
My bad I have 205.45.17's.

red03miniS Sep 6, 2003 02:32 PM

vdubdoug Sep 6, 2003 02:59 PM

I like them so far. The true test will come when I drive to Philly on Monday (3 hour drive) and spend 3 days working in and around that area.

red03miniS Sep 6, 2003 03:09 PM

Doug - EXCELLENT setup! I'm really happy with my Parada Spec 2's - the thought of switching them off for winter is not cool...

Lookin good! Those OZ's are one of my favorite wheels. I've never seen them in white. Looks awesome on your mini!

Scoutd Sep 8, 2003 08:48 PM

your mcs looks stunning! WOW Now we can say EB's are not only the fastest, but the best dressed too.

jimskater Sep 8, 2003 08:54 PM

Nice looking wheels. Esp. good with the EB/W combo. How's the ride?

vdubdoug Sep 9, 2003 04:38 AM

Thanks for the compliments everyone

Dandp,
We need to get together for a phot shoot!!

red03miniS,
Yes they rub since I am running a 37mm offset. the tire is melting the plastic of the fender liner. I wore them down pretty good yesterday driving around Philladelphia with me and a co worker.

I hasve to trim the fender liners when I get back home

The ride is very good, much softer than the runflats (as has been said before).

doug - fall photo shoot with 2 shades of blue sounds good to me...gotta do it before we go to snows!!!
