I got my Prodrive P1's from Tire Rack today, and they look great! I got the Yoko AVS ES100's, 215/45-17. The tires are a little bigger diameter than I expected, but I think they'll look good once they are on the car. I hope the acceleration isn't hurt too much by the extra diameter.

I did get shorted one center cap and two sets of lug bolts, but I put a call in to Tire Rack and I'm sure Alex will take good care of me.

If all goes well, and I get the lugs this week, I should be in Louisville autocrossing the S for the first time this Sunday! I figure I've got however long these tires last before I have to decide if I want to go to the 205/45s next time

How many of you have the 215s and what are your opinions? The extra 20mm of width certainly isn't going to hurt

I'm sure Alex will correct your minor glitch with speed.

Please post pics when you get them put on, Congrats!

i have the 215/45 es100s on my car as well. i am runing 17X8 and notice a bit of rub in the right rear when i have a passenger, stock suspension. i have about 300 miles on tghem. just highway..my car sits in the garage..so i dont know how they handle

congrats on teh prodrive..cant wait to see pics

I am running the pro drives (17x7) as well with a 215/45 S-03 tire. car handles so much better than with the old wheels and run flats. Absolutely incredible, what a difference, haven't seen, felt, or heard any rubbing ( about 1000 miles with them on) Love the wheels, looks great with a white top...

Sounds great, should be OK.

Hopefully you will get these soon.

Let us know how it works out for you.

I have centerline RPMs 17x7 with Yokohama AVS ES100 in 215/45-17 with H-sport springs (lowered one inch front and back), H-sport rear control arms, and madness rear swaybar. Everything works perfectly. Handles great and it is smoother/quieter than stock S-lites. Also I lost 11 pounds weight per wheel compared to stock. Great for acceleration- like adding 10-15 HP but you only see it on accelerating.

Hello YellowMiniS
Conrats on your P1's
I have been eye-balling them for my self. also saving pennies to get them.
was wondering how long ago did you order them?

to visit Tire Rack now, they are out of stock and do not plan to get more

Me too, I'm heartbroken. I wanted these wheels. I sent Alex a PM. Anyone out there who was interested in these wheels please do the same. Maybe we can get them to change their minds...

Travis actually got the absolute last set I had. I have discontinued my relationship with Prodrive. Tirerack will no longer handle Prodrive at all (except for YellowMiniS's center cap).

Hey guys, sorry to steal the last set. Alex, thanks for the help with getting everything sorted out. Hopefully we'll get that center cap yet this week?

Here are my P1's....

I had my eye on them for awhile and I also waiting to raise the cash, but there was so much talk on the forum about them, I decided not to wait any longer so I bought mine before they were all gone.

Thanks again to Alex!

NICE!!

I've found mine are hard to keep clean, but I can deal with that. No worse than the stock wheels.

Of course, I'm still waiting on my center cap. Alex, any word on it yet?

Alex@tirerack Sep 15, 2003 04:16 PM

still waiting. *It will come*

When new and clean the White Prodrives are gorgeous. Down with brake dust!
If you put on wheelwax you might be able to keep those wheels pretty clean.
Wheel wax

Does anyone know of another vendor that is still carrying these? I'm currently trying to decide between these and Team Dynamics Pro Race 1's.

BSUCardinalfan Sep 19, 2003 08:48 AM

originally I ordered yellow, then I saw a BRG/White with stripes for the first time and had to change my order. I didn't want to change my username, and "lose my identity", you know?
