Actually it's not for a Mini, it's for a Matrix XRS, IIRC 18" x 7.5" RS-7's are available in a 45mm offset, right?

Thanks for getting back to me, maybe I wasn't clear they would not be for a MINI, I don't own one yet

They would have to be ordered, but they are available and the will fit the Matrix. Let me know.

OK, will do, the car is going in the shop to have the front bumper cover repainted (at some point some of it just started spauling off), and I'd want the wheels/tires around the time I got it back.

I've got to get something, I'm still running my stock wheels with Dunlop M3 Winter sports and it's almost July!

(although I have not been driving it much, driving my other cars mostly)

I'll ring you up soon so we can discuss this, thanks for the info!

Leo,

I'm still new to the tire/wheel game... Do the 18" RS-7s need anything in particular to fit an 08 R56 S? And I see you guys do mounting/balancing but what about the TPMS sensors? I'm just trying to figure out my total cost. Thanks!

Quick question. I have a r56 S dropped on H&R springs and will be getting new wheels and tires in a few months. I would love to go with 215 but don't know if I need 205 so I dont have any rub, what does everyone think?

A 215/40R17 works well on lowered Mini's.

Leo, how bout 215/45 to keep it the same overall size? Is that something I should do or not worry about a couple inches?

I run both 215/40 and 215/45. Lowering springs don't drop the front as much as the rear, so you won't have any problems. I ran HSports and H&R Greens with 215/45 and 205/45's with no rubbing.

Rubbing only happened once I got Cross coilovers and slammed them. With the wheels turned out, there was about 1/4" clearance between the arch and the tire.

If you aren't scraping on speed bumps then you're not going to have rubbing issues.
