Can anyone verify that these are real and not replicas based on the pics? Thanks!

They sure look like the R90's on my '05 MCS.

One way to check is to see if the wheels are actually multipiece, there should be some fairly obvious indication on the rims if they are.

It's my understanding that the replicas are 1-piece, and the bolts around the perimeter are fake.

Nice looking wheels, I'm hoping to get a set of R90's on my MCS to complement the Aero Kit.

Hope this helps!

look at the back of the wheels...should have 'BBS' cast in with other stampings like 'MINI' '7x17EJ47' or something

Won an Ebay auction yesterday for this set and the seller did send me more pics. So I'm paying a total of $1041 ($900 + $141 shipping). They have about 9000 miles on them and come with Pirelli Eufori@ runflat tires. So how did I do on price? Do I still need to balance and align them at a shop or can I just install them myself? I'm not much of a DIYer so any other advice?

Thanks,
Charles

looks like you got the real deals. i cant comment on the price, i dont know what theyre going for...

i personally wouldnt get them balanced unless they felt strange after putting them on the car. no need for alignment if your car drives straight and true.

Thanks for the feedback glnr13! Do I need to torque the bolts to a certain spec. or just tighten them as much as possible?

very small.. but it's there...

i just got these too.. but i paid $800 plus shipping..

with only 3000 miles on them.

With Tires?

Thanks for the feedback PGT and hexproject. Looks like I paid a bit more  But for $800 is that with tires or no tires included?

Wow!! I guess I'm getting a slamming deal! Am picking up 5 anthracite R90s tomorrow of which one has some curb rash and the others are clean for $575!! No tires, which is cool since I'm going to put a set of Falken Ziex 215x45x17s on them soon.. Anyone want my S lites and lives in the Bay Area?
