Centercaps don't match wheels?
 

Is it possible that the white centercaps I got from MINI don't match the white wheels I got from MINI (dealership).

Story is: I ordered the car with white wheels. It came with silver wheels. Several months later I finally got some white wheels that the dealer said came off a brand new MINI. But there were no centercaps. Several months after that I got the correct centercaps direct from MINI, via the dealer ordering them.

I suspect they painted some silver wheels white, which I was very specific about not accepting. The wheels look good so I just took them, but now my suspicion has been aroused again. Before I take it back (again) and yell (I've been very nice to this point), I want to see if anyone else has seen white paints that don't match.

Oh, wheels are these; 17" crown-spokes.
