Falken Rotation Wear Indicators

Does anybody know what these are on the 912's? What indicates its time for rotation?

Odd. I've never heard of a tire having rotation indicators...I'll try and find out.

I didn't know the tires had that feature but they do called Rotation Wear Indicators. I think they may be little holes on the treads that allow for when you can rotate tires.

I wonder how you know when to rotate them. Do the holes disappear and reappear etc...?

There might be a few holes at various depths, one set wears then down to the next level when the next rotation comes up, not as deep as tire wear indicators- then change the whole tire.
