confirm these OEM's willl fit ok please?

i have a 2003 R50 cvt and i prefer stock rims. and i like my current ones which are the R83 silver 5 spokes 16 x 6.5 w/ a 50mm offset. They were on the car at the dealer but, they have curb rash and it's time to replace them. AND, i really like the 8 spokes as they remind me of the classic mini.

what i would really like to install are one of these 3 following wheels and would like to make sure they would work. pretty sure they will but, don't want to get them and be stuck.

so these are the 3 and i would just like a little input on each (well 2 are the same dimensions) and how they would affect performance, speedometer, handling, etc. i ride at stock height and dont plan to ever go lower. right now i have 195*55*16 runflats and would like to go to 205x55x16 (or 15) non run flats. so here are the 3:

15" oem style 82 - 45mm offset . i would really like these. would it affect my sppedo much and if i put a 205x55x15 tire (yokohama a/s high performance) on would there be a huge gap between the tire and suspension?

16" oem STYLES 92 and 94- 48mm offset. figure these would work fine as they are very close. but as stated just double checking before i buy any of them. probably go with the avons if i get these.

also since these are mini OEM's can i just pull my existing rims off and pop these on? no adapting rings or special lugs?

thanks.

If you scroll about 25% of the way down here, there is a tire size calculator that will answer your question "will it affect my speedo".
http://www.carbibles.com/tyre_bible_pg2.html#
I can't help w/ offsets. I can say I put 215x50x16 tires on my oem wheels with no problem. I think as long as you are using oem wheels, you don't need to worry about offset. I also think that all Mini wheels have 56.1mm bore, so none need centering rings. I've checked to see if R53 wheels could be put on an R56 and they can, but I don't know about an R50.

Go here: http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...foTireMath.jsp to determine the size that best matches your current tire size.

Go here for the Tire Rack: http://www.tirerack.com/ to see what's available.

Example: 195/55/16 and 185/65/15 are overall the same size. (24.44 vs 24.47) 195's are wider than 185's. (7.68 vs 7.28)

Example: 195/55/16 and 205/60/15 are 24.44 vs 24.69 overall and your indicated speed would be 0.61 mph faster than displayed.

There are 36 tires in 185/65/15 to choose from at Tire Rack or 57 tires to choose from in 205/60/15.

If your want A/A Yokohama's there are 5 to choose from at Tire Rack.

All factory Mini wheels fit your car with no modification or rings required.

Get the R-82 wheel and enjoy!!

Hope this helps...
