Big Brake Kits

Am looking to do a brake upgrade on my 03...lots of options out there.....has any one used these ?

BIG BRAKE KIT FRONT
This kit uses the factory caliper which is relocated to accept a much larger rotor. This is an economical way to increase braking. Requires 17" wheels. Kit includes 324mm (12.75")diameter vented rotors with billet aluminum center, mounting brackets, hardware, and Stainless Steel braided hoses. This is a "bolt on" and does not require any special tools. This kit fit all the factory 17" wheels with out spacers.
Price: $630.00

I'd be careful just doing the fronts, if you're serious about driving it--you're going to alter the brake bias significantly. I'd look for balance--I don't know with that setup if simply changing rear pads would help, but it might not be enough.

There was recently a quite informative thread on the balance issue. Cliff notes is with the proper front setup then one can adjust the balance properly with the correct pad choice on the rear.

yeah you can add a front kit and be just fine with only great things like stopping way faster. in fact you can actually add too much rear brake and spin yourself right around. i have seen it too many times.

give me a call if you need help.

For the price you are talking about for the kit to relocate the stock calipers, I would take a hard look at Chad's Big Brake Kit for just a few more bucks..
