Wow, what a difference. I got a new set of Dunlop winter m3;s from a forum member and got a set of sport edition cheapo 16" wheels.Obviouslt the traction has improved and the car hook up so nicely in the snow covered Denver streets. But the ride on highway was just incredible. More forgiving and the enjoyable. Ditch the stinking run flats and get a repair kit w/ 12volt inflator. If you are really lazy just get a AAA membership. IT IS WORTH IT.

no, I am not that bad. My first MCS (an 02) never had run flats. I bought it used with two other sets. Then I bought this 05 MCS used in May of this year. I was just floored by how bad the runflats really are. Not for only performance reasons but daily comfort as well. The Dunlop M3's, which I have never used before, are fantastic in the snow and slush we have in Denver. And they are still brand new, not even broken in yet. My Audi has the hankook icebears and I have been extremely happy with those. But these M3's are just as great as long as you can find a decent deal.

Cheers
Cenk

That's cool.

I've got 16 in run flats that i'll be switching out to 17 in non run flats (nitto's) and I'm anxious to see what the difference is going to be.

I'm sure going from 16 to 17 would normally increase the harshness of the drive just in general but run flats are pretty darn rough IMO.

Got the Nitto Neo Gen. They had a pretty good overall rating at discount tire. 215/40/17
