Early 2006 Wheels on Late 2006 JCW

I recently purchased a 2006 MCS JCW and would like to find a used set of 17" R90's or some Minilite wheels on which to mount some all season or winter tires. Is it possible have a machine shop drill the early 2006 wheel with 12mm bolt holes to accomodate the 14mm lugs that are standard on the July 06 and later Mini's? Would the shoulder angle of the two different lugs cause a problem? There don't seem to be a lot of used wheels around that accomodate the new lug size.

Any help would be appreciated.

All of the MINI wheels have lug bolt holes that are about 16mm, so there's no problem with fitting the earlier wheels to the later cars.

Yep, I have 05 web spokes on my R56. No problems.
