picking some rota's, what to do about hubcentrics?

i dont even know what a hub centric is.
but i do know the wheels need them to be specific to the mini.
im getting some 16x7 rota slipstream offset of 38.
im buying them from a guy that had them on a VW.
will i need the hubcentrics? if so where do i get?
thanks

i have rota's in 16x7 that i bought from 18racing.com
they sent hub rings with the wheels

a hubring is an adaptor that makes wheels fit hub that are smaller than the hole in the wheel. the mini hub is 56.1mm

i don't see an 38 offset 16x7 rota slipstream on there site, are you sure that is correct?

most every big tire/wheel store will carry them

does that makes sense?

You should mount them before you buy them. Rota's have many different off set's and different hub size's. My 16x7 Slipstreams are a 40mm off set and have a 67.1mm hub.

can these hubcentric adapters be purchased locally or is this something i have to get from rota?

you should be able to get that size hub ring from any local tire/wheel place. for example discount tire. or online at tirerack.com or 1010tires.com
