Mini F56: Mini Hatch/Hardtop 2014 - 2019
Description:

Do you hate how terrible the JCW Pro Bluetooth exhaust is on your F56 JCW? Always disconnecting and closing the valve, or not opening the valve when you want some sweet sweet pops?

This connects inline between the exhaust wiring harness and the receiver, with a hardwired button run to the front cabin and installed in the 12V outlet/USB trim behind cupholders (you could install it anywhere, I'm just including the trim if you want it there)

One click of the button and the valve opens, with a red backlight on the button.

Best part? It's easy to leave the valve open before starting the car, making cold starts even more fun for your ears!

Bolts to the wheel well next to the receiver - happy to walk you through the install if you buy it!

Original idea taken from this thread, upgraded to include the backlit button and a silent fan that keeps the relays nice and cool:

Out of curiosity, what's the black box before the relay? Fuses? Fan is a great idea by the way.

Also worth mentioning that one of those grey plugs is discontinued by the manufacturer. So, others looking to do this will have trouble sourcing that connector.

The black box is an additional relay - it works to power the button backlight when the button is depressed. Because of the way the receiver works, the valve is opened when the main relay board cuts power to the receiver, and closed when the main relay board is energized. So normal behavior would be that the button backlight only receives power when the relays are energized, which is when the valve is closed.

I ran it without a fan originally - because of where I live, and my SO, I have the valve closed a lot, so the relays are energized a lot of the time (and heating up)

Also bummer to hear that one of the plugs has been discontinued. I actually have one spare female and three spare male connectors if anyone wants a new kit made.
