Rear "strut" bars do not aid in strengthening the suspension.

I just installed the first customer M7 rear strut (rear chassis stiffener bracing) that does not move the rear seat forward. It is similar in construction to the undercar strut system. It really stiffens up the back of the car. The car feels really solid in hard cornering. No track time yet as it was installed this PM. I will be at AMVIV 2007 if you would like to see the install. Contact M7 for pricing if you are interested.

A little preview of the final product, same superb workmanship as the
Under Strut System and the M7 STB. This unit will possitively lock in the rear strut towers for better control and possitive chassis response...

Four points are used on the brace To assure solid chassis mounting, and the main brace bracket is cnc machined from one solid billet piece.

The brace will not push the seat forward and will not interfere with the trunk space.

Price: $279.00
Shipping March 1st, but we are taking pre-orders

What does installation involve, and does it fit a cabrio?

 That is the funniest thing I've seen today. So I guess the whole idea that the Minis had very little benefit to gain from the rear bar will now go out the window? M7 strikes again. This will absolutely be the next "must have" mod. "M" for marketing.
