What do I do with a coliover setup?

Question is: I removed everything from my seats back and now the rear rides very high. Like 4" in the rear. Do I have to get certain spring rates or what? I am going to go with KW V2's. I only see one spring rate. Who do I need to talk to to have them swapped and how do I find out what rate I need? Thanks fellas.

I think you should lower your rear first, and maybe you can swtich your h-sport comp sway bar to the stiffest setting before changing the springs. Your rear spring rates on the kw is 40n which is about 222lbs. You can try switch it to 60n (333lbs) or 50n (278lbs). I don't think anything higher then 60n would be good on the v2's shocks.

hope this can help!

I don't have KW's yet....I don't know what to do. My sways are on full stiff. I need the car dropped enough (right above the tire or DUMPED) and I have a 4" GAP. What spring rate will do this?:sly: The front end is not affected YET....or until I put the CF hood on and drop the braille battery in. We will see if that would be enough for a change in height (but I doubt it).

sorry man, I didn't see. but for now 40N and the stiffest setting should be pretty good in my opinion. if not then you can try upgrade to a higher rates.

the 4" gap won't be a problem, if you have the kw coilovers on. no worries!

Yeah....but Steve's car doesn't have the interior ripped out of it!:sly: It's a lot of weight! Plus, he's just cooler than me.
