JCW Pro suspension on 2015 JCW with DDC
Hello all,
Looking for some advice or potentially someone who has gone down this route before. I'm looking at purchasing a 2015 JCW and want to put the JCW pr suspension on it. The car has DDC and I've heard that you are able to install the suspension but you have some ABS and DDC errors that come on the car. Has anyone done this and purchased the KW ESC cancellation kit to get rid of the errors or should I just be looking to purchase the KW (V1) Suspension and install that with the EDC cancellation. I'm more leaning towards the pro suspension plus the Kit due to the dealership being able to complete the installation in a shorter time with less to worry about going forward. |
The Pro suspension is made by KW. Probably the equivalent of KW (V1). Height adjustable, but no adjustable damping or rebound. All things being equal, I would go with whichever is the better price.

Ah. Well aside from that, has anyone seen the KW EDC cancellation kit available (separate from the entire suspension kit)?
I was on their website and the only kit there says that it does not fit. I've emailed them and I have yet to receive a reply. |
Based on the installation instruction PDF on KW's website, the kit consists of plugs and covers for the connectors. You could be just as effective, if less elegant, with waterproof tape. :)[/url]

To deactivate the DCC you need to either code the ECU or to fit cheaters.
Eibach makes two kits, one to be soldered to the wiring, it costs about $ 50 (check at your local dealer), cod.65 57 004 01 22 One of plug&play units, but much more expensive ($400+) cod. 65-57-004-02-22 If you fit a coilover kit like the pro or KW with just plugs/covers for the connectors you'll have an error on the dash. |
