Suspension Unique Request: I don't want my car very low.
SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
The TEIN springs are NOT progressive rate springs. I can vouch for it, as I have TEIN High.Tech springs on my car. The drop is perfect, in my opinion, and the rate is very similar to the stock springs. You can read my full review on the TEIN High.Tech springs here.
So, what you're saying is that the H-Sports end up lower than the 1" or so that they claim? How much more do you say they'll drop? Anyone else had this issue?
I dunno, but I know Astra's car seems really low for only having a supposed 1" drop. The TEIN springs didn't settle much at all, maybe 0.2", so they're around .5-.7" drop. All of my numbers are based on a Cooper S, though. Your mileage may vary.
